Welcome to Slow Horse Press, an independent publisher created by and for authors G.S. Harrington and Daria Pipkin. Slow Horse Press is not open to submissions from other authors.
G.S. Harrington (aka Grace) is the author of What We Have Tamed, a YA sci-fi for animal lovers pitched as Noah’s Ark in space, suitable for readers ages 12 to 99.
Her writing shows her eclectic taste, blending climate fiction with suspense, a slow-burn romance, and animal science. Her faithful assistants, Laika and Togo, keep her legs warm, her clothes hairy, and her mind inspired to create a better world for humans and animals alike.
Daria Pipkin is Grace’s pen name for her heartfelt Upper Middle Grade contemporary novel The Influencer about a girl who spreads positive gossip to give other kids friends while avoiding her own problems, suitable for ages 10 to 14.
Because Grace’s books are so different from each other, she uses separate pen names for different age groups to respect the algorithms and her readers’ tastes (particularly her younger readers’). Readers who enjoy her writing style and read a wide variety of genres are welcome to check out her other works.
